Ersa

In 1921, ERSA's founding father, Ernst Sachs invented and patented the world's first electric soldering iron for production use in his home in Berlin, Germany. After World War II, the company was moved to Wertheim, Germany, where it still remains and continues to grow.

Today, ERSA is Europe's largest manufacturer of soldering systems with the world's largest product range for the PCB manufacturing industry including reflow, wave and selective soldering machines, rework & inspection systems, as well as soldeirng hand tools. In 2008, ERSA expanded its product range and area of expertise to include solder paste printing machines with integrated AOI.

With representation in over 70 countries, ERSA has its own, long-standing presence on the major continents of Europe, America and Asia.
